- I was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I was drafted in the fourth round by the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League and later went to accept a football scholarship to the University of Hawaii.I played in the Canadian Football League for seven years. I bought and operated a pizza franchise for five years and later became a high school principal.
